Homeland : Survives in various ambients starting from dry seaside bushes up to mountainous rain forests in Sri Lanka (Ceylon)

Reproduction time : Varies depending on climate. Generally starts in april and lasts until end-july.

Annual egg number : 3 - 6 eggs.

Incubation period : It is not so spread. They are precautious against humanbeing in natural life and remain farther from villages however they may go in ploughed areas and plantations in order to find food.
