Germain Peacock Pheasant (Polyplectron germaini)

Other names : Germain’s pheasant.

Sub sorts : unavailable.

Homeland : Jungles and wet forests in Southern Vietnam.

Description : They are generally darker than bicalcaratum. Males have big eye-shaped stains. Crest is very short and face skin is red. Females are smaller; furthermore red color on face and eye-shaped stains on tail are clearer compared to other sorts of the class.

Reproduction time : around April, although depends on region and climate.

Reproduction age : first year

Annual egg number : 2 eggs

Incubation period : They are more nervous in cop compared to gray peacock pheasants, however other habits are similar. Endurance against cold is better than other peacock pheasants.
