Sub sorts : This sort time-to-time is thought to be polyplectron malacense.

Homeland : forest in Western Borneo.

Description : Middle of throat and chest of male fowl are white and the remainder part thereof is covered with dark metallic green-blue feathers. This is the darkest one of the polyplectron sorts. Female looks like malacense, it is more reddish and has longer tail.

Reproduction time : It is rarely reproduced. However it may be bred after having been captured, like polyplectron malacense.

Incubation period : It is on the list of animals under risk of the world. Little information exist on the matter of their behviours in savage ambient.
